Day 16 – A movie that you used to love but now hate
Twilight (2008)
Okay, here we go…So I used to love this thing called Twilight (you may have heard of it), but now I completely despise the whole fandom. After Twilight, I read the books, I loved the characters, I loved the actors…and now everything about it has changed. Watch New Moon and Eclipse and you know exactly what I mean. This movie was “supposed” to be an indie movie that not too many people saw, and a good film by Catherine Hardwicke. Now it’s some huge Blockbuster that each actor was definitely not meant for. You give those actors some money and big sets and huge budgets and look what they turn into. I can’t bare to watch them without laughing at how bad it is. I can surely speak on behalf of many people on here, and some may not admit it, but what it’s become is a completely overrated series that has become something it was never meant to be. Now it’s not to say I won’t go see Breaking Dawn because if I’ve read the book, I certainly will go watch the movies. Let’s just say I’m not on any Team Edward or Team Jacob anymore.
