Bjork in her infamous swan dress at the 2001 Oscars

Bjork was rocking an egg on the red carpet when GaGa was in the 10th grade.

If only Natalie Portman had worn this to the Oscars last year. Everything would be right in the world.

Movie posters designed by Hunter Langston. Just realized that movie poster designs are very much like book cover designs. They are both like an elevator pitch of a story. I’ve watched two of these movies so far. Now I’m interested in seeing the Artist and Tree of Life for sure!

The Academy Award Nominations

I feel like we all have something to complain about every year, but seriously Academy!? 9 films? A select few of those could have easily been discarded for the snubs of this years nominations. Not that I expected anything being as most of them weren’t noticed at the Golden Globes either.

I’ll start by saying that my two favorite films of the year were The Artist and Midnight In Paris. Very proud of them both :) #TEAMWOODY #ANDUGGIE

On the other hand…Those that were certainly snubbed in my opinion are Melancholia, Shame (seriously, nothing?), Drive (obviously what everyone is talking about), and a very underrated MarthaMarcyMayMarlene (flawless performance by Elizabeth Olsen).

Let’s get down to business.

I’m going to Italicize & bold my predictions/who I want to win :)

The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence will announce the 2012 Oscar nominations on January 24

I am so terribly sad that I will be in class when they are announced!

I’m thinking that tomorrow I will make a post with my predictions. Well, my predictions and who I actually WANT to win.

What do you all think of that? I’d love to hear your opinions too :)
