Day 01: The best movie you saw during the last year

BLACK SWAN

I think it’s safe to say this question was pretty hard, so let me explain. This past year has been an extremely successful year in the film industry. And with me taking my first film class last semester, and seeing some pretty unforgettable films; new and classic, I wanted to narrow this question down to favorite new films in the past year. I definitely had my choices of a few that included The King’s Speech, The Social Network, and Inception…because who could forget about those amazing performances? So I decided to go with Black Swan for an inevitable reason in which case this movie took over my life for a prolonged period of time. I mean that in the best way possible. From the first moment I saw this trailer, I knew it was going to be an absolute classic, and one of Natalie’s best performances of her career…and I am very fond of her character in Closer. Anyway…I’m glad to be sharing this challenge with you all, and I hope you understand I chose each film very carefully with an open mind…
